Bayelsa State Law Students Hail Lokpobiri Financial Support

Bayelsa State Law Students Hail Lokpobiri Financial Support:

Indigenes of Bayelsa West senatorial district, Bayelsa State, at the Nigeria Law Schools, have called on prominent indigenes of the state to emulate the kindness of Senator Heineken Lokpobiri, who has been financially supporting them in the last six years.

The students, in a statement by Ofoni Ofoni and others, said that the payment of N50,000 each to 56 law school students from the senatorial district for the current academic session was an example of display of support and philanthropy, which Lokpobiri, who is the Senate Committee Chairman on Water Resources, has been exhibiting since 2008.

The students said: “This display of support and philanthropy is unparalleled in the history of representation in our senatorial district and a huge source of inspiration and financial relief to us.”

The group said that it was aware of several other landmark capital and human development projects attracted by Lokpobiri to the senatorial district. (Vanguard)
