Caleb University, UN Collaborate on Project

Caleb University, Imota, Lagos in conjunction with the United Nations-Habitat, is set to inaugurate the UN-Habitat State of World Cities Report on May 7, 2014.

The project, according to the university’s Public Relations Officer, Olushola Emiola, is an in-depth comparative study report carried out in over 50 cities across 40 nations.

In a statement on Monday, Emiola noted that the cities were chosen from both developed and underdeveloped nations, using both scientific and economic parameters.

The inauguration of SWCR, co-sponsored by the Lafarge Cement Company, she added, would help in the Memorandum of Understanding between UN-HABITAT, Nairobi and the university in research.
