How to Apply for Ondo Teachers Recruitment Exercise – 2014


The Ondo state Governor, Dr. Olusegun Mimiko, last Tuesday, directed the immediate recruitment of 2,000 teachers into the state’s teaching service by the Teaching Service Commission.

The Ondo State Government has approved the recruitment of 2,000 teaching and non-teaching Staff into the Public Secondary Schools across the State.

The Ondo Teaching Service Commission, ONDO TESCOM has released the procedures for registration and process as follows:

» Monday September 8 – Sunday September 14 – Online Registration of Applicants on TESCOM Website: www.ondotescom.com/recruitment or www.ondotescom.org/recruitment. Access is free. (Courtesy: Dr. Olusegun Mimiko)

» Monday September 15 – Thursday September 18 – Shortlisted Applicants to be contacted through SMS.

» Tuesday September 23 – Aptitude Test at Akure, Owena, Owo, Oka, Ikare, Ondo, Odigbo, Okitipupa and Irele centres.

» Wednesday September 24 – Thursday September 25: Notification of successful Applicants through SMS

» Monday September 29 – Tuesday September 30: Interview of successful Applicants.

» Monday October 6 -Friday October 10: Induction Course for, newly employed Staff.

Qualifications:

A. Teaching:

i. University Degree (Education) and NCE

ii.Computer Literacy

B. Non-Teaching:

Pry6/SSCE

DOCUMENTS TO BE ATTACHED:

Each Applicants is expected to attach their

a. Primary Six Leaving Certificate

b. Evidence of Local Government of Origin

c. Letter of Identification from Applicants Community Heads

d. Birth Certificate

NOTE: 

  • Applicants are to note that the originals and photocopies of ail credentials and attachments should be brought to the interview.
  • The exercise   will accommodate 1, 300 University graduates with Teaching education qualification, 200 National Certificate of Education, NCE, graduates holders and 500 Non-teaching staff with Primary 6 and Secondary School Certificate.

  • Applicant must be of Ondo state origin and quality control system will be adopted in the employment process.
