WAEC GCE 'Walk-in Candidates' Registration Process


West African Examinations Council, WAEC ‘walk-in candidates’ registration for the 2024 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for Private Candidates, First Series (January/February) will commence immediately after the closure of the normal registration window.

This is to inform all the candidates that missed registering for the 2024 WAEC GCE during the normal registration window that they can utilize the opportunity of the new scheme introduced by the council, i.e. Walk-in candidates.

‘walk-in candidates’ is for intending candidates for the WASSCE for private candidates, who were unable to register during the normal registration period.

This scheme provides interested candidates to register and sit for the examination as ‘walk-in candidates’.

When the 2024 WAEC GCE Walk-in Candidates Registration Will Begin

The ’walk-in candidates’ registration will commence after the deadline for normal registration and continue throughout the duration of the examination. 

How to Register for 2024 WAEC GCE as a Walk-in Candidates

Candidates who wish to register for the examination after the close of entries may be accommodated as “Walk-in-Candidates” provided they register not less than twenty four hours to the scheduled time of the paper (s) they intend to write. The “Walk-in- Candidates” fee is Forty Five Thousand Naira (N45, 000.00) only.
