KSU Post UTME / DE Screening Form 2023/2024


Kogi State University (KSU), now known as Prince Abubakar Audu University (PAAU), has begun the sale of its Post-UTME and Direct Entry forms for the 2023/2024 academic session. To be eligible, candidates must select KSU as their first choice, score at least 140 in UTME, and have five O'Level credit passes. The application, costing N2000, is available online, and the screening exercise is scheduled from August 21st to September 9th, 2023. Direct Entry applicants with an upper credit grade can also apply.

An Overview of the Application Process

The application period commences on July 21st and concludes on August 15th, providing prospective students with a generous window to gather necessary documents and complete the application process. KSU Post UTME Screening Exercise Eligibility

The screening exercise will exclusively cater to candidates who have prioritised PAAU, Anyigba as their first-choice institution. A score of 140 and above in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) is a prerequisite, illustrating the university’s commitment to high academic standards.

Alongside this, candidates must have at least five O’level credit passes in line with the University’s entry requirements. The subjects chosen at O’level should be conventional and relevant to the applied course: Arts, Sciences, or Social Sciences. Prospective Management Sciences students must have studied Economics and Mathematics.

Additionally, uploading O’level results on JAMB CAPS is mandatory for all candidates, as no admissions will be processed without it. Candidates awaiting their O’level results are allowed to apply but should make a note of their status.

Procedure for Online Application

Application is a straightforward online process. Candidates are to visit https://portal.paau.edu.ng/ and make their payments using their ATM debit cards. They must enter relevant details, including examination number, type, date, and scratch card PIN, for their O’level certificates. All information must be previewed and confirmed to be accurate before submission to avoid complications.

Direct Entry Procedure

Candidates who applied for Direct Entry to JAMB and chose PAAU, Anyigba as their first-choice institution are also required to complete the online application form for their screening exercise. The minimum entry grade for Direct Entry candidates is an Upper Credit, ensuring a high standard of entrants through this pathway.

KSU Post UTME Screening Exercise Schedule

The screening exercise is scheduled to occur from Monday 21st August to Saturday 9th September 2023. Candidates will find their specific screening dates in the slip they receive post-registration. They are required to strictly adhere to these dates.

As part of the application process, candidates must upload all relevant documents on CAPS, as mandated by JAMB, to allow the University access to these details. Without this, the admission process will not proceed.

Lastly, the University maintains a zero-tolerance stance towards admission misconduct or malpractice. Any candidate found guilty of such behaviour will be denied admission, and if they were previously admitted, their admission will be revoked.
