OOU Postpones Induction Ceremony of Engineering Graduates

Olabisi Onabanjo University, OOU engineering graduates 2nd induction ceremony has been postponed.

OOU engineering students induction ceremony

This is to inform all engineering graduate students of Olabisi Onabanjo University that the 2nd induction ceremony earlier slated for 25th January 2017 at the College of Engineering and Environmental Studies Ibogun Campus has been postponed to 8th March 2017.

This is to allow more intending students to participate in the programme due to calls by affected students who might have been denied the opportunity without this postponement.

Graduate Engineering students are to participate in a mandatory induction programme into the Engineering profession with the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE).

Consequently, every student is to pay a sum of Twenty Thousand Naira (N20, 000.00) only to the Bursary through POS in any of our Campuses on or before 3rd March, 2017.

Note that this is for all students who have graduated from the Faculty, who have got this information from far and near who are yet to be inducted or have not been incorporated into any cadre of NSE beyond student membership, and not restricted to those in the current academic session.

You are to personally begin your online NSE Graduate Membership application processing by login to http://membership.nse.org.ng/nse/GraduateReg/GraduateRegister.aspx. Or follow the following registration steps:

Go to NSE web site (http://membership.nse.org.ng/nse/GraduateReg/GraduateRegister.aspx)and start directly. If the link is not going through, copy it and paste it on your browser address box and click go or follow these steps:

Click on Membership and Choose Membership Categories. Go to Special Link at the right hand side of the website and choose Student and Graduate Application.  Finally, select Graduate Member to commence the registration process.

Then come to the Faculty office with your teller from NSE, in addition to the evidence of payment and a photocopy of the POS receipt and data capture form.

It is pertinent to remark that your studentship as engineering student remains incomplete without participating in this induction as your professional registration is tied to this.
