University of Benin, UNIBEN matriculates 10,353 Students, urges them to shun vices such as cultism, prostitution, armed robbery.
The University of Benin (UNIBEN) on Friday matriculated 10,353 students out of the 28,400 applicants who sat for its Computer Based Post UTME screening in 2015.
The Vice Chancellor, in his opening speech, on behalf of senate, staff and students of the university, welcomed all to the matriculation ceremony.
He congratulated all the 10,333 applicants that have been admitted into the school for the 2015/2016 session.
He encouraged the matriculants to be obedient to already established rules and regulations. He also urged them to shun vices such as cultism, prostitution, armed robbery throughout their stay in the university and beyond.
He encouraged them not to disappoint their parents who have invested so much on them and encouraged them to participate in social activities such as sports.
