The Council of Legal Education, the authority that runs the  Nigerian Law School, has released the results statistics of  the Bar Final examinations for regular students conducted in September 2016.

GENERAL PERFORMANCE

  • Total number of students who participated at the  examinat io ns: 5,517.
  • Total number of successful candidates : 4,178.
  • Total number of candidates with conditional pass:
  • Total number of candidates who failed:

 OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCE

24 Candidates were graded in First Class. Abuja and Lagos Campuses recorded 8 each, Yola Campus 4, Kano Campus 3 and Yenagoa Campus 1.

 OTHERS:

  • Candidates graded in Second Class Upper: 568.
  • Candidates graded in Second Class Lower: 1,359.
  • Candidates in Pass: 2,227 .
  • Candidates with Conditional Pass: 359.

 The above translates in percentages as follows:

  • Pass – 75.7%.
  • Conditional Pass Fail – 6.5%.
  • Fail – 17.8%.

CALL TO THE  BAR CEREMONIES:

The Call to the Bar Ceremonies for the successful candidates will hold on November 29 and 30 2016 in Abuja. Further details will be given in due course please.
