NUC Warns Varsities over Unaccredited Courses


National University Commission, NUC warns universities to stop offering unaccredited courses.

National University Commission (NUC) urged universities to stop offering courses not approved by the commission. Offering unaccredited courses will only create problem to students, because they would not be accommodated in the one-year national youth service.

This was disclosed by the Executive Secretary of the National University Commission, Prof. Julius Okojie at the 6th convocation ceremony of the Bells University of Technology, Ota, Ogun State.

He also noted that some private varsities are guilty of such.
